Thoughts And Words - Same (Liberty UK 1969) Mono After leaving psych poppers Pandamonium, Bob Ponton and Mike Curtis formed Thoughts and Words who recorded one LP and a 45 for UK Liberty in 1969 with the help of Mike Batt before disappearing. It's quite a rare LP only released in the UK at the time and finds them retaining elements of their late 60s pop psych roots, while expanding into melodic baroque folk pop with chiming 12 string guitars, rockier moments, blissful harmonies and wonderful tunes. A real underrated one that gets better with every listen
