Description
Up for bid is an extremely rare soul LP on Hi Records, the debut album from Ann Peebles, "This is Ann Peebles." This album was released in 1969 and is cataloged SHL 32053. This original pressing was distributed by London Records and is now a very hard to find gem. Featured are the original labels with red lettering and original cover art.
The copy for your consideration remains in the original shrink wrap and grades VG+ due to the snipped corner, as pictured. The remaining corners remain sharp and all seams remain intact with some light wear on the spine. The vinyl would grade visually a very conservative VG due to many light surface marks on both sides of the play surface. Play graded on a quality turntable with a new Ortofon stylus, the grade comes closer to VG+ as the blemishes result in light surface noise that never overpowers the music and the recording does not skip. The vinyl will be shipped in a poly-lined inner sleeve outside of the jacket to prevent any damage during shipment. The labels and spindle hole are clean and in good shape.
