Third Power Rare US Promo LP Believe VG+ 70 Vanguard VSD6554 Psyche Detroit Rock
Rare Original US Promo LP released in 1970 on Vanguard Records. Cat: VSD6554. Features promo labels and a Promo stamp on back of cover.
Uncovered in the out back of N.S.W. this record is part of a recent collection stored and unplayed for the last 20 years. Collected during the 90's and mostly sourced from overseas kept in a cool dry cellar there are some tasty gems on offer and we look forward to listing them over the next few months. All records have been professionally cleaned and play tested and graded conservatively.
Motor City hard rockers Third Power were led by singer/guitarist Drew Abbott, later a longtime staple of Bob Seger's Silver Bullet Band. Also featuring bassist Jem Targal and drummer Jim Craig, Third Power formed in 1969, quickly emerging as a favorite on the local club circuit thanks to their bone-rattling sound; an LP, Believe, was recorded for Vanguard in 1970 but after it flopped commercially the trio went their separate ways.

There are some spindle marks on labels. Record has some scuff light scuff marks and a few very light scratches that cause light crackles and is in VG+ condition. Cover has some ringwear and marks, small surface tears around edges and the start of small seam splits on top and bottom right hand corners and is in VG condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
