Condition:Vinyl: Is glossy but has visible smudges - not scratches though, but plays through with only a few very soft crackles in one or two quiet spots - there is one very slight jump on side 2 song 1 - very minor - hardly noticeable.Cover: Minor general wear on edges and corners have damage - see photos for close-up details.Playback: Played and audio is fab except for some faint crackles and one slight skip as above.
Okay this is NOT the 2024 re-release - this is the original US 1987 pressing.
This is a fantastic copy considering it is close to 40 years old!
A bit about the bandThis 30-minute album, 'Get Lost (Don't Lie!)', was released at the end of 1987 following the band's debut EP, 'Marry Me', on the American underground label SST. The band consisted of Australian-born Rowland S. Howard, who rose to prominence as Nick Cave's collaborator in the Birthday Party, his bass-playing brother Harry Howard, drummer Epic Soundtracks (formerly of Swell Maps and Jacobites), and keyboardist Genevieve McGuckin.
