VINYL is NEAR MINT -
High Gloss Vinyl is super Clean, just shy of Full NM with a few faint sleeve wisps, visible under hard bright light, that are inaudible. PLAY TESTED. Some soft background crackle at very beginning of sides that quiets right down after a few revolutions to superb, noise-free EX+ to NM sound the rest of the way. Bright, clean labels both sides.

COVER is VG (Near VG+)
Solid, overall clean cover has some tan spotting/age-toning on Back, at edges, mostly at bottom, with much lighter, lesser amount along top and right edge. Otherwise a solid VG+ with a mere touch of shelf wear and light edge, corner wear. Mild bend to l.r. corner and a very mild edge crease at upper left. No splits. "PROMOTION NOT FOR SALE" stamp on back and "Columbia Records Radio Station Service • Not For Resale" Timing strip on front. Rectangular Timing Strip has some wrinkle and small piece of its u.r. corner missing, but is still firmly intact around all other corners and edges.

there were NO Mono issues of this LP ...and no 'White Label' Promos exist. Columbia Records had just succeeded in getting manufacturing and distribution rights for USA on the new IMMEDIATE Records label - and this is how they rushed out their promotional copies (all STEREO) of what they expected would be the hottest ticket from Immediate: The SMALL FACES first appearance on LP in the United States, while ITCHYCOO PARK was climbing the charts.
Some quite different mixes to many of these songs, than found on UK or most other European Small Faces releases of the time. who was a DJ at the Radio Station I co-founded in the 1970's - and who worked for me at my California record store in the '70s and '80s.
Sadly he has now finally left this mortal coil, bequeathing me his deep Vinyl Mine.
