Description
Vinyl: VG. Moderate surface noise both sides, most noticeable during quiet passages and between tracks. There is a scratch a few seconds into the first track of side 1 that causes the stylus to skip ahead 1 second and continue playing but is silent thereafter. There is a silent scuff, as well, on track 1. There is a scratch in the last few seconds of the last track on side 2 that creates a couple of audible pops but no skip.
Sleeve: VG. Sleeve shows moderate shelf wear. Both sides show ring wear around the label instead of the usual perimeter of the record. All four corners show moderate wear. There is one 1 inch split in from top of sleeve mouth. At the center of the top of the back of the sleeve "M-10" is written in felt-tip marker, and the name Emil P. Ubersax is hand-stamped in the upper right corner.
Labels: Emil P. Ubersax is hand-stamped on each label. Both labels have spindle trails As a known misprint, Thelonious Monk's name is misprinted as "Theolonius Monk" on both labels, with an additional letter "o" inserted after the letter "e" in both instances.
Matrix numbers: On both sides, A and B, "7075" is scratched out with "7169" etched in below. Side 1: RVG PRLP-7169-A AB stamped C. Side 2: RVG PRLP-7169-B AB stamped D.
