The Thelonious Monk Trio Prestige 7027 446 West 50th Street RVG fireworks label MONO first pressing with Art Blakey, Percy Heath and Gary Mapp. This LP from 1954 marks the debut of Blue Monk and the interplay between Art Blakey and Monk cannot be overstated. LP is going to be listed as very strong VG as Side A is VG+ and Side B has a few really tiny hair marks that done affect play but since this is a vintage LP that is sure to get a lot of attention, careful grading is appropriate. Strong VG rating, Side B is VG and Side a is VG+ and a great addition to your collection and well worth picking this one up. Sounds great on the turntable and Art Blakey alone makes this one a must have. Cover is VG+ and no issues there. Any offer made has to be in the triple digits and a substantial one as a copy of this sold for over $1000 just two years ago and another got $740 just three months ago from research.
