Description
Recorded in 1972 these two tracks were scheduled for release in 1973 (MW3004) but were never issued. They were later released on the "Thelma Houston" album, her first record with Mowtown under the Mowest Label (MW1023L) This is a Factory Sample and may be the only one in existance! Thelma, of course, went on to International success, scoring a Number One Hit in 1977 with "Don't Leave Me This Way", also winning a Grammy for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance. It's amazing that these two fantastic tracks were never commercially released as a single, as they are Mowtown classics with Thelma at her soulful best. In the past, some of her rarer singles have sold for well over £100 and this must be the rarest of them all! I can find no record of this disc ever coming up for sale and have decided that now is the time to sell and am offering it at a really low starting price to give everybody a chance to bid on what could possibly be a unique piece of pop history!
Item Condition:
The vinyl is in fantastic Near Mint Condition.
It has the original Mowest cover which has slight signs of ageing and a two inch tear near the middle on one side
