Description

The dB's rare vinyl debut album - "Stands For Decibels" 1981 Albion Records U.K.  Near-Mint vinyl w/Peter Holsapple autograph on a piece of paper (sitting on top of album cover in photograph)
Classic jangle-pop/power-pop/geek-pop.
I'm selling this together with The dB's 1984 "Like This" album, which is in Excellent condition.  -------- **(The Story on the autograph: dB's lead singer/main songwriter (and later touring keyboardist with R.E.M.)  Peter Holsapple  signed the back of my Political Science class notes after the band's Syracuse (N.Y.) University show in spring 1985, while they were on tour behind their "Like This" album.)** ------ dB's "Stands For Decibels" Vinyl is Near-Mint with no noticeable surface noise during music;
"Stands For Decibels" Album Cover Excellent-minus with no edge-wear/corner-wear but a few stain-spots, a crease, & half-inch surface tear on Front, --  plus 1-inch dent along top-edge of Back cover; ..... those extra-soft-paper British import album covers damage easily.
"Stands For Decibels" album's plain white paper inner sleeve is Mint with no splits. ------ The dB's "Like This" album Vinyl is Excellent with no disruptive surface noise; comes in static-free clear plastic inner sleeve; played multiple times but handled carefully. "Like This" Album Cover is Excellent-minus with light to moderate edge-wear & corner-wear, some small creases,    and a 2-inch by 1-inch spot of surface smudge/sticker residue. -------
Both records will ship in same package via USPS Media Mail, encased in stiff cardboard inside a thick, cushioned USPS envelope for $4.00....
One additional vinyl record album bought within 48 hours can be included in the same shipment for just $1 additional separate charge.
