The Zombies - Odessey And Oracle - Mono - A1/B1 - Very Rare Original Vinyl LP - 1968 CBS
The mono version of the LP has the original horns on "This Will Be Our Year"; they were recorded live, straight into the mono mix.
This particular copy has had a life, however it is a rare LP in any condition.
Vinyl - side one - numerous hairlines and marks
- warm crackle - played through well and sounded good
- side two - numerous hairlines, marks and an ugly scratch (see pic 12)
- warm crackle - there is a skip on "Butchers Tale (Western Front 1914)", but otherwise played through well and sounded good
Sleeve - the front cover is laminated - creases and marks, but overall looks very good
- the back cover is not laminated - slight dirt in the whiter areas and some vinyl shadow - a yellow sticker in the bottom right corner (see pic 11)
Labels - rough orange CBS - side one - spindle traces, otherwise clean
- side two - numerous spindle traces, otherwise clean
Inner sleeve - original orange CBS advert sleeve - a few small marks, but looks very good
Matrix numbers - side one - 63280 A1
- side two - 63280 B1
