Description
This is an authentic copy (mine) of the 1971 Epic Records Live Yardbirds Featuring Jimmy Page,released by Epic to capitalize on Jimmy's Led Zeppelin huge success and massive album sales.
Jimmy sued and won and epic wound up having to pull this album off the record store shelves throughout the US,making it a very rare collectors item…..This album was soon bootlegged not long afterwards,making authentic copies,which sound so much better, even more collectible.
This one is real,I bought it when it was initially released.
For you Led Zeppelin fan's out there,there are two songs on here which would wind up being on Led Zeppelin I….White Summer and a song called I'm Confused,which became Dazed and Confused.
Authentic record,not the bootleg!
I am being extremely conservative on my gradings here.
The record is in a very modest VG+++ condition,there are a few light marks (nothing deep), they don't affect the brilliant performance of this record.
This albums mirror like sheen is brilliant.
The cover is a VG++, there is ring wear on the front cover,but the back cover has virtually no ring wear (see scans).
I've been collecting records for over 54 years now and this album is from my personal collection.
