Cover is in "VG" condition.  Front has visible ring wear.  Some of the purple color is scraped away in a few places.  The colors are still fairly bright and the pictures are in good shape.  There is a bit of writing on this cover.  The word, "Don" is written at the top center in marker.  The area is about 1/4" long and 3/8" tall.  Below that someone wrote "34" and below that "ok" is written.  The last two lines are each about the size of a dime.  Don also wrote his name in the lower left corner.  Area is about 2 1/2" long and 1/2" tall.  Top edge shows signs of wear and is split from the right  edge to half way across the cover.  Spine shows some signs of wear with no splits.  Bottom edge shows some signs of wear with no splits.  All four corners shows some sign of stress.  Back cover has even more writing and doodling.  There are music notes, creative ways of writing the band members names, and their own ratings for each of the songs.  Interestingly, Don only gave an "ok" to the song "For Your Love", but gave "Putty (In Your Hand)" a "Good +" rating.  I wonder what drugs he was on!

The vinyl is in "Fair to Good" condition.  Lots of scrapes, scuffs and light scratches present.  Do not be deceived....this does have noticeable surface noise, but still plays quite beautifully!

Vinyl grading is usually based on the Goldmine standard and is as follows:

"SS" - Still Sealed

• For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.

"M" - Mint

• These are absolutely perfect in every way.  Mint should never be used as a grade unless more than one person agrees that the record or sleeve truly is in this condition.

"NM" -  Near Mint

• Vinyl - In factory fresh condition, like new.
• Covers - Have no creases, ring wear or seam splits of any kind.

"EX+" - Excellent plus

• Vinyl - close to new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play.
• Cover - close to like new with only superficial signs of use.

EX - Excellent

• Vinyl - A used, reasonable copy.  Shows slight signs of wear.
• Cover - Shows slight signs of wear.

VG+ - Very Good Plus

• Vinyl - May show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience.  Slight warps that do no affect the sound are okay.  Minor signs of handling are okay, too, such as tell-tell marks around the center hole, but repeated playing has not misshapen the hole.  Light surface noise may be heard between tracks or during quiet passages, but still plays quite nice.
• Cover - Should have only minor wear and may have a split less than one inch long.  Also, a VG+ cover may have some defacing such as a cut-out marking. 

VG - Very Good

• Vinyl - Significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise.  Still plays great.
• Covers - Will have many signs of human handling.  Ring wear may be present as well as some creases visible.  Seam splitting will be more obvious, and it may appear on all three sides. 

Good

• Vinyl - Good does not mean bad!  The record still plays through without skipping so it can serve as a filler until something better comes along.  But it has significant surface noise and groove wear, and the label is worn. 
• Cover - The cover has ring wear to the point of distraction, has seam splits obvious on sight and may have heavier writing, such as, for example, huge radio station letters written across the front to deter theft. 

Poor to Fair

• Vinyl - Record is cracked and/or impossibly warped or skips repeatedly when an attempt is made to play them
• Cover - So heavily damaged that it is almost unrecognizable.
