This isn't just an ordinary vintage 45—this specific record is an official ex-BBC Gramophone Library archive piece, complete with its original library sleeve, unique filing index card, and formal BBC library ink stamp directly on the Side B label. Why this record is Legendary: Side B features "Amen, Brother," an instrumental funk track containing a short, blistering 6-second solo by drummer Gregory Coleman. Commonly known as the "Amen Break," this precise section became the single most sampled drum loop in music history. It served as the structural foundation for the entire evolution of Hip-Hop, Jungle, Drum & Bass, and Breakbeat culture throughout the 1980s and 90s. Owning an original 1969 broadcasting copy from the BBC is a holy grail opportunity for any serious electronic music historian, DJ, or rare groove collector. Condition Report
