The Who/High Numbers "Zoot Suit/I'm the Face" Fontana TF-480. The holy grail of all early Who recordings in impeccable condition. Originally released in a quantity of 500 copies.
This is my #1 copy. I originally purchased this from Greg Biggs at CVC Collectibles around 1990. I recall him having 3-4 to choose from at the time and him stating that this was the nicest one he had come across in his many years of dealing in Who Vinyl. So, likely the best he had seen out of dozens.
Vinyl is a glossy M- with no scratches, lines or distractions of any kind. Loads of original luster. Labels are fantastic as well. A slight touch of sleeve wear on just the highest point of the center label. These are not spindle marks but high point wear. Silver ink on logo is completely mark free and uninterrupted. See photos. No nicer copy could exist!
Comes with original Fontana sleeve.
