Who Did It
Ultra Rare

Overall Description
Here we have undoubtedly the rarest Who record of all time!!
The Track Records pressed record was mail order only, and it is reported that only 400 copies were ever sent into the world before it was quickly recalled and deleted.
There can’t be many of these left in the world now, and certainly not in this sublime condition!
The outer sleeve is a front laminated presentation with a tint to the laminate. The rear has a simple run down of the track list and the Track records logo under that. The spine simply reads “Who Did It” with the catalogue number alongside.
The labels are the traditional matt black Track records with silver writing.
The polylined inner original sleeve is also present which bears the
Made in England quote, with the date 2/70, indicating it was made in February 1970
The production in enhanced stereo which was taken from the original mono recording

Outer Sleeve
The front laminated outer sleeve is in splendid condition. The few that I have ever seen of this record are always beat up, written on or in some other poor state, but this really looks almost brand new! There is NO writing whatsoever, No stains, No tears and No laminate lift. The only sign of its age would be a little minor wear to the spine and the smallest of shelf wear to the corner. That’s all there is to mention! The record still lies perfectly flat and square, and all the original colours looks as good as the day the record was mailed. This is a hairline from being mint, it really is, and I think many would grade as mint, but honest is my policy! It’s so so rare to see the outer sleeve of this particular record in such great condition, and can only testify to this being the rarest Who record out there!! Mind-blowing!!! Excellent++
Inner Sleeve
The original polylined inner sleeve is in superb condition, showing next to no signs of its 40 year age. There is no writing, stains, or tears. The text is still perfect and readable. Sublime Near Mint
Labels
Apart from the unbelievable outer sleeve, this is where this record shines. So often this record has been played to death, as it was the lifestyle of the fans who liked the music!! This record, however, has hardly been played!! There is next to no evidence of it ever hitting the turntable!! The labels have No stains, NO rips and NO writing at all! The text is perfectly readable, as it was on its day of release. There is perhaps the mildest of spindle marks that can be seen under a strong halogen bulb, but other than that it looks, as I said, Unplayed!! Near Mint
Vinyl Visual
The record looks brand new, it really does. Under a strong light, maybe the faintest of hairlines can be seen, but these are more likely removal marks, that have absolutely no effect on playback. It still retains its wonderful factory shine and lustre. There is no warping whatsoever, no nasty scratches at all; it looks brand new, as simple as that!! Near MINT
Vinyl Audio
I didn’t know whether to listen to the record or not as I’m pretty sure it’s not been played, but saw it as my duty. The record played through sublimely! There were no skips or jumps at all. There was no distortion at all. It sounds perfectly clear. All the dynamics of the band coming through as they should, with no distortion or unwanted noise. There was barely static between the tracks, it’s that good! “Boris the spider” sounded amazing! This truly is an audiophiles dream Near Mint
Overall
So there we have it, a museum quality listening experience, of one of the rarest Who records ever pressed!
An utterly excellent outer sleeve housing a barely played near mint vinyl!!
This really is a once in a lifetime opportunity and a must for any collector or true Who fan!!

On 26-Jul-12 at 12:18:58 BST, seller added the following information: After lots of interst in the record and mostly about the spine looking fine in the pictures. The minor wear that I talked about doesnt run across the whole spine, its a small 4mm mark of wear and thats it, otherwise the spine is perfectico!! Hope that helps
