The Who By Numbers (2008 US exclusive limited edition 10-track LP pressed on 200gram QUIEX SUPER VINYL, originally released in 1975, mastered by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering from the original ¼” analog mastertapes sourced directly from The Who. The lacquers were cut on Classic Records' All Analog Tube cutting system, presented in deluxe picture sleeve with 12" x 12" 8-page booklet, plus repro 'Polydor' labels, housed in sticker-sealed PVC bag).

Super Vinyl is produced in Japan at JVC, the only place in the world where such high quality vinyl is made. Super Vinyl gives an ultra quiet playing surface. It's a vinyl that is heavier and harder than ordinary vinyl. And it has no "memory". You can play a Classic SV-P record over and over again, without having to let it rest after each play. When an ordinary, soft vinyl record is played repeatedly, the groove walls tend to stretch and distort and the sound deteriorates.
