The Who Sings My Generation 1st U.S. Pressing on Decca Records, DL 74664, with VARIANT. _____________________________________________________
1st U.S. Pressing! 1966 Vinyl: NM (Possibly NM+) Beautiful , Clear Sound! Sleeve: VG+ with Stereophonic Banner! _____________________________________________________
Play tested and is in superb condition! No skips, dead quiet between tracks. The only static I heard was just before track one on each side and that was minimal. It is also expected on many albums as this is the area most handled. Absolutely not intrusive. The overall sound is still dynamic and crystal clear.
The sleeve is in excellent shape, does have some ring wear but NO split seams, NO creases or bends, NO tears or cuts, NO writing or markings of any kind. Spine is intact and corners are still well formed with only the slightest amount of wear. (Please refer to photos.)
According to Discogs, this is a VARIANT including a "Stereophonic Banner" section on the bottom of the back cover which reads: "THIS IS A TRUE HI-FI STEREOPHONIC RECORD!" followed by the DECCA logo and FULL STEREO, along with additional text. The original inner sleeve is included (one small tear). I will also include a new inner and outer sleeve. ________________________________________________________________________________
