Description

The Who Sell Out Mega Rare Mono LP with Original Poster, Stickered Sleeve AND ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE
This is the complete item.

Not just the Mega Rare Mono release of The Who Sell Out but it has everything a collector could want.
I see a few of these around with the poster and even a few with the stickered sleeve but this one has the inner sleeve that states PATENT APPLIED FOR and MADE IN ENGLAND. This then you can tell is one of the first compiled Who Sell Out records.

OK now for the condition

Record

The record itself is fantastic. It has the usual surface marks and 1 needle mark that spans 4 tracks on side 1. They are minor marks and really only are audible in the silences. There are no jumps or sticks. The spindle marks are as you would expect from this brilliant album. They are not too heavy though. There is no writing or tears on the labels. Overall the record is VG+

Sleeve

The sleeve is nice and white with a little yellowing but it's still got vibrant colour definition. There are corner scuffs but the spine is fine and sharp. There is a laminate split on the bottom right hand corner that has removed the surface of the cover - see pictures. Without that the sleeve would be VG ++ as it is it's a VG.

Poster

Like the record the poster is fantastic. It has  the usual ageing and yellowing but there are only tiny (less than a mm) splits in some of the fold edges. and the corners are free from scuffs, tears, folds, pin or tape marks. The poster has it's original folds only and only one of two creases that affect the print. There is a dirty mark on the bottom right hand corner. The poster has probably been protected for some years. Overall in EX condition.

Inner Sleeve (First pressing with PATENT APPLIED FOR text)

Like the sleeve this is in really good condition and free from splits and tears but does have some dirty marks like the poster mark. The text is clean clear and free from fading. This possibly the rarest item in the piece due to the fragile nature of inner sleeves and due to the fact that most people don't mind what sleeve the record goes back in as long as it's in one. Condition VG+

Overall we have a VG++ item. The rarity of this record, sleeve, poster and inner sleeve means that it's either a very good investment or a brilliant addition to any collection.
