Description
The Who - Quadrophenia
Catalogue no 2644 001
I bought this new in the 80s and it has been well cared for. Please note that the grading of the disc (goldmine standard) is based on visual inspection only. I have been deliberately conservative, given I cannot say for certain how well they play. There are no visible marks on the discs, and I they have not been played very much. The outer sleeve is virtually immaculate, the only sign of wear being some small tears around the staples holding the booklet (which still smells brand new!) into the gatefold sleeve. There is also a slight biro indentation in the corner of the front of the sleeve, which I think was there from when I bought it (see photos). I believe this is the 1973 Netherlands release of the album (Cat# on Side A/B: 2409 203; Cat# on Side C/D: 2409 204). It includes a 44 page booklet attached to the inside of the gatefold sleeve containing stills from the movie and lyric sheets, however strangely it doesn’t seem to contain the track A5 printing error referred to on Discogs. If you have any questions to help confirm its identification please message me.
Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class. I will use suitable protective packaging.
Please see my other listing for vinyl LPs. If you wish to bid on multiple items I will endeavour to economise on combined postage.

Update 09/02: I have now played the record through and can confirm it plays very well with negligible surface noise between tracks. I have amended record grading to VG+.
