This vinyl Double LP compilation is a must-have for any Mod or Northern Soul fan. This album contains music from the film soundtrack. featuring a variety of Northern Soul artists also tracks from The Who, this 33-RPM record is sure to impress.
Quadrophenia, The Soundtrack release from 1979 includes both A1, B1, A2 and B2 on a black vinyl, matrix number is machine pressed with hand etched A, B, C, D, and a cardboard Gatefold sleeve which has a great readable spine and is in a sound condition. The reverse shows minimal ringwear and the cover is clean and in very good order. The actual front cover picture has a minimal sign of ringwear and the lettering is in good condition, it has
minimal scuffs where the picture has been removed, this is minimal, and on the front cover it has small blue markings (which may have been caused by trying to clean the cover) but this again is minimal (Please see photos).
The gatefold picture is fantastic. The corners of the cover are in a great condition considering the album's age. The record grading is Good + (G+) and the vinyl is bright and clean, no scratches or chips and no track jumping, each LP has signs of hairlines or scuffs, visually, and this does not affect the listening quality,in my opinion, and does have background noise in the quiet parts but it is 35 years old !! The sleeve grading is Good + (G+), but this does not take away from the overall quality of the compilation. This album has the original inners in a superb condition. This LP is a great addition to any music collection, even as a play only version, instead of a display.
I have tried to be as honest as possible with this album, as I purchased on Grading, which in my opinion, was far from correct.
Please feel free to contact via eBay if any further questions, but the vinyl has been play tested throughout and plays without a problem. This album will be posted with a new inner sleeve and the one that came with it will be enclosed, a plastic outer cover, LP removed from the sleeve and in a stiffened record mailer.
