The Who - Phases

German limited edition Polydor reissue pressing of the first nine The Who LPs, which means the ones with Keith Moon:

  • My Generation (1965)

  • A Quick One (1966)

  • The Who Sell Out (1967)

  • Tommy (1969)

  • Who's Next (1971)

  • Quadrophenia (1973)

  • The Who by Numbers (1975)

  • Who Are You (1978)

My Generation is a mono pressing, all others are stereo.
Live at Leeds has all the originally contained inlays.
Quadrophenia is a double LP with a gatefold and has the extensive booklet stapled indside,
Tommy is a double LP with triple gatefold and an additional booklet.
All sleeves except "Who Are You" have a "Limited Edition" sticker on front, innersleeves have dates from 1981 imprinted.


  • Condition Slipcase: Strong EX. Light shelf wear.

  • Condition Covers: EX to NM. Minimal wear. Very light creasing along the spines here and there, but close to perfect for 40 year old sleeves.

  • Condition Vinyl: NM. Most of the discs appear unplayed and could easily be graded mint. Some have spindle wear from one spinning,

           only "A quick one..." has some faint paperscuffs visible under strong light from the rough original inners.
           I playgraded that and it sounds great throughout.
           I exchanged all the simple paper inners with poly-lined inners after checking the condition. You will receive a stunningly well preserved set of
          
           discs.

- I use sturdy cardboard-boxes and cardboard-dividers, both specifically designed for the safe shipping of vinyl records.

- Most LPs receive new antistatic innersleeves (in addition to the original ones, which of course are also provided). I, however, don't add new sleeves, if the original ones seem fitting.

A note about my record-grading:

I usually only visually grade the LPs under strong light and I only playgrade them ( i.e. the portions that seem to have signs of usage), if I can't be sure of their actual condition.
If records show stronger signs of soiling I'll professionally clean them (Okki Nokki RCM), but I'm not doing this if it's obviously only dust, as I know that collectors usually prefer their
very own way of record-cleaning.

My goal is to always decribe the records appropriately and I will name every visible and/or audible defect in my detailed description. If regardless of my precautions
you should ever be dissatisfied with the condition of a record, please contact me before leaving negative or neutral feedback to give me the chance to resolve your query.
I'm confident, however, that this will hardly ever be the case. I've been selling records for many years now and so far complaints fortunately have been the utter exception!
