Description
Very clean and tidy copy of The Who’s debut album from 1965. This has not been trashed like many others I have come across over the years, and plays very well indeed. For a record which is now 51 years old it would be difficult to find a better copy at this starting price. Matrices are MG-10256-1B/MG-10257-1B, indicating a first pressing.
Single sleeve VG++ In pretty good shape. The laminate is in good order and the rear is only slightly discoloured. There are very light creases to be seen here and there.
Labels – Ex Moderate spindlewear, but certainly not played to death!
Inner sleeve – New polylined bag (the original is missing)
Record – VG+ Very nice overall, with the usual light surface marks and hairlines. There are two visible light surface marks on Side 1 Tracks 1 and 2, but these have very little impact on playback. The record plays generally VG+ throughout, with patches of crackle and the odd random click. Audio is still clear and powerful, with some loss of clarity towards the end of Side 1. A great playing copy with many years of life ahead!
