Description
The Who's classic debut album, 'My Generation', originally released in Australia on Festival and subsequently issued, in various versions, on Festival's subsidiary label, Calendar.
This is a 1960s Calendar issue but without the orange and black Calendar sticker which was usually pasted over the Festival logo. This is the version with the Calendar releases information on the rear and the message regarding vinyl quality for Record Collectors. The flipback sleeve is laminated on the front. This is a good, (mostly) playable copy of a rare version of the Who's debut.
Vinyl has scuffs and marks throughout. Plays well though with some surface noise, particularly between tracks. Generally though, The Who (as you'd expect), drown the surface noise out. There are two exceptions: 1) There is a slight skip near the beginning of 'Out On The Street'
2) 'The Ox' sticks, just before the end.
These were noted on a fairly sensitive Harman-Kardon turntable. Results may vary on other machines.
There is a sticker stain on label Side A and a name written on Side B (see images)
There's a small tear at the bottom of the sleeve where the LP has rubbed against the inside. Otherwise the sleeve shows wear, but is intact.
