The Seller is the Original Owner and received this LP as a promotional copy from the label at the time of its release.
At the time of this writing, the Seller had additional titles by this artist for sale on Ebay.
The disc was visually inspected and appears to be in Mint condition. It was pressed on Quiex II, which was a harder, purer vinyl used by the WEA labels (Warner, Elektra, Atlantic) for promotional copies. The idea was to show that vinyl was still king and sounded as good, or better, than CDs. It's a higher quality than what was used for standard pressings.
Quiex II was a pure vinyl formulation that was colored with dye rather than the more commonly used carbon black (which has coarse granules and creates noise). The discs are usually "black," but if you hold them up to light, you should see some light coming through the vinyl -- it's not precisely translucent, but it looks sort of glowy/brownish rather than blocking out all the light. (See photo demonstrating a desk lamp shining through the vinyl.)
The cover is in excellent condition. It has a promo sticker and a Quiex II sticker on the front cover. It has the original custom inner sleeve, which has no seam splits. It is a paper sleeve that features lyrics and credits.

(Wikipedia Excerpts) “It's Hard” is the tenth studio album by English rock band the Who. Released on 9/4/1982, it was the last to feature bassist John Entwistle, who died in 2002. It was also the second and final Who studio album with drummer Kenney Jones, as well as the last to be released on Warner Bros. Records in the US. It was released on Polydor Records in the UK, peaking at No. 11, and on Warner Bros. in the US (for sale here) where it peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Pop Albums chart. The US rights to both this album and Face Dances subsequently reverted to the band, who then licensed them to MCA Records (later Geffen Records, itself once distributed by WB) for reissue. The album achieved gold status by the RIAA in the US in November 1982. It was their last album for over two decades until Endless Wire in 2006.Tracklist

The Seller was in the retail record business in the 1970's-1980's and acquired a collection of 2500+ albums from that era, which is now being sold on Ebay. Most are promotional and collectible LPs which have never (or seldom) been played. Many are white label promos, first pressings, and often factory sealed. The collection has been securely boxed and stored in a smoke free environment since 1983, 39 years! Please check back occasionally to see my new listings. I add approx. 25–50 new LPs per week.
Grading methodology is as follows:
M (MINT) - Album is brand new, sealed, and has never been played.
NM (NEAR MINT) - Vinyl looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. LP cover may have some light rub marks.
VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) - Vinyl may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned corners, or a slight seam split. May have slight signs of wear also may be marred by a cut out hole, sawcut, or cut corner indicating it is a promotional copy.
VG (VERY GOOD) - Vinyl has light wear, scratches, or scuffs. Covers may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached, etc.
