Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
Album ships in a 2 MIL poly cover sleeve.
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
- This was the group's last album for WB and their last new release until 2006. It was also the last album with Kenny Jones and John Entwistle.
- The US rights to these masters reverted to the group and were eventually re-released on MCA.
- So, this album is a rarity for that and the following reasons.
- It is a Limited Edition First Pressing on Quiex II audiophile vinyl.
- It is a Promotional copy that has never been played.
- The Promo sticker is on the front cover.
- The single piece board cover has tight seams and shows no wear.
- The inner sleeve has lyrics and credits on both sides.
- This is a one-owner. Seller got it from WB in 1982. It has been in storage for 33 years.
FREE BONUS: The Who Tour Programs for 1981 (Face Dances) and 1982 (It's Hard)
- The 22 page 1981 tour program (9.5" x 11.75") is from the previous album's tour (Face Dances). I should have included this when I sold that album but I forgot so here it is with the follow-up album.
- The Seller got this from WB in 1981. The Who's management gave WB some of these when the group hit the road to support Face Dances.
- The 28 page Official Program (9.5" x 13") for the 1982 tour is
- Both of these copies are Mint Condition. They have never been displayed.
- They have been in storage for more than 33 years.
