Description


A very rare and superb Press Release Kit for the 'Face Dances' vinyl album.  It contains a special promotional issue of the album, a superb black and white promotional photo; an information postcard and a superb 9 page media information pack as well as a large poster. A truly rare collectable copy 
Media Information Sheets x 3:  (typed with Warner Brothers Records logo in colour at the top and address at the bottom of each of the front sheet): Face Dances - - Album Cover State Of The Art (Information on the Album cover) - 2 sheets The Who (Information on the Album) - 2 sheets The Who (Information on the history of The Who) - 5 sheets
Postcard has the names of each of the artists that painted the album cover photo's on the back of the postcard (names included are Peter Blake and David Hockney!)
Glossy Photo has Warner Brothers Records logo bottom right
The Pack Envelope has The Who 'Faces Dances' on the front together with Warner Brothers Records logo and address at the bottom
Large Poster of Album Cover 59cm x 59cm's
Album cover has on back "Loaned For Promotion Only. Sale is Unlawful. Ownership Peserved By Warner Bros. Records Inc."  this is part of the album cover and not a sticker. Inside the album cover the date MAR 25 1981 is stamped.

Number: HS 3516 Matrix: HS1 3516A S2    and also has stamped 'Guaranteed Brand Spankin' Who' Matrix: HS2 3516 S2    and also has stamped 'Who Is Joe Suit?' Released: 1981 Vinyl: Excellent plus. Beautifully clean and shiny. It looks very lightly played. The only thing I could see and this was under bright light was a couple of minor scuff marks and the odd very faint light needle mark (not audio tested) Labels: Excellent. No writing or marks Sleeve: Really nice – just some slight wear and creases at the edges and corners Inner Sleeve with lyrics to songs: Excellent - - no writing or tears  Pack Cover: Excellent - no writing or tears - just some very minor creasing Press Releases x 3: Excellent - no writing or tears - just some rust to the staples Postcard: Excellent - no writing or tears - just some very minor discolouration on back Photo: Excellent - no writing or tears  Poster: Excellent - no writing or tears (it has been folded to allow it to fit into the album cover) Spine: Shows signs of wear
