Description
The Who - 'Anyway Anyhow Anywhere' b/w 'Daddy Rolling Stone'.
Released on Brunswick records in 1965, catalogue number 05935.
Demonstration sample 7" single in Brunswick company sleeve.
Matrix nos. 45-116049-2C / 45-116040-2C.
Vinyl is visually around VG with a couple of light marks on each side but there is nothing that gets in the way of the music. There is very slight background noise at the start of each side before the music but once it starts to play, any crackles that were there can no longer be heard and there is little to no noise in the run-outs after each track has ended.
The labels have very slight discolouration from handling over the years and each side has the standard promo number stamp on it.
The B side is wrongly credited to 'Martin'. This is Derek Martin, the former Five Pearls/Top Notes singer who released this as his first solo single in 1963, but it was originally written and released ten years before that by Otis Blackwell, who was also the composer of such songs as 'Fever', 'All Shook Up', 'Don't Be Cruel', 'Return To Sender' and 'Great Balls Of Fire'.
