Edit: relisted with added details
I received this White Stripes "Live in Las Vegas" from a former Ian Montone assistant back in the late 2000s. I was happy to receive this, but when I got home to play it, I was greatly shocked.
The discs themselves LOOK good overall, but some of the sides might've been incorrectly pressed as there are frequent major skips throughout. There are some tiny scratches that affect the skipping, but there are more drastic skips/pops that doesn't seem to be have been caused by scratches. Sides A, B, and D are affected. Overall, I do think that both the scratches and bad pressing attribute to the skips and pops. I also think the record was mastered HOT which causes some distortion/clipping. Due to these facts, these sides are unlistenable.
Side C, E plays great though, even if there is some distortion and clipping. Once again, it was the mastering or pressing I believe.
Side F is blank as the tracks end at Side E
Jacket is in G condition, and you can see that a part of the label printing landed on the inner sleeve for Side A. I'm going to ship these out in inner sleeves with antistatic lining on the inside along with the original sleeves. The blank jacket has some marks, folds on the corners, and ringwear due to it fitting three discs. No seam splits.
I kept it around since it was a gift, but I must now move on from it. I was going to throw this record away as I didn't want to keep something that didn't play properly, but I'm putting this up as an auction just in case somebody wanted it even though only two out of the five sides play great.
