Description

First---this is a beat up copy of The Weeds No Good News b/w Stop. Visually, it looked like G; scuffs and marks abound on the vinyl and there is ring wear on the label (see scan); I cleaned it and it went to G+; I've played it and it probably sounds VG-. It ain't perfect by any means and I won't pretend it is---I list a lot of 45s as unplayed and I mean it---this disc has taken its' share of wounds over the years but surprisingly plays better than it looks. I have never seen the picture sleeve that supposedly existed when this was released in 1971 on the legendary NWI label from Portland. Call this Northwest Garage or even early Punk if you wish. So what's the big deal? The answer to that is Fred Cole---he of the Rats, the Lollipop Shoppe, the first go around of The Weeds as well as this second time around plus, most importantly, DEAD MOON where he and Toody reigned for decades not only in the Northwest but around the world. These are rare as hens teeth and that is why the price is high. Media Mail in US $5.50; International rates to be determined.
