PARLOGRAM AUCTIONS presents...
THE WALKER BROTHERS - 'TAKE IT EASY WITH'
Released in November 1965, this was the Walker's debut LP in the UK and contained their first hit 'Make It Easy On Yourself'.
This genuine 2-sided, 33 rpm 12" acetate bears typewritten 'EMIDISC' labels on both sides.
Unlike the released version, which contained 12 tracks, this acetate contains only 10.
The difference is that despite 6 tracks being listed on the side 1 label, that side of the disc contains only 4 tracks and omits 'Lonely Winds' & 'The Girl I Lost In The Rain'.
Side 2 of the album contains the six tracks as listed on the label and the released LP.
CONDITION
Label: EXCELLENT
Disc: POOR
Unfortunately, the disc is unplayable due to it being significantly warped. It therefore must be considered as an artifact only.
Both playing surfaces bear numerous light surface marks and there is some missing lacquer around the edges, mostly on side 2.
However this truly rare and possibly unique piece would be an essential part of serious Walkers collection.
