The Velvet Underground S/T MGM SE-4617 OG 1969 Third Lou Reed RARE READ DESCRIP.
I bought this copy about a week ago as a filler and recently found a playable copy, so I’m letting this one go.
Vinyl Grade: P (Poor)
It looks like the vinyl was once warped and someone did a poor job trying to flatten it. This causes every track except the last two on each side to be unplayable. “Pale Blue Eyes” is playable but there is some pitch wavering.
Cover Grade: G+
Cover is okay but has some issues. There is a 4.75 inch split on the top seam but it doesn’t extend to the mouth. The bottom seam may have been split at some point and is mostly taped with clear tape, not too easy to notice. General scuffing, ringwear, spine wear. It looks like someone colored in the spine with a black sharpie around the white letters on the spine and then did the same with the bottom seam. Not sure why. Not an awful cover.
