This is actually a misspress (with different matrix numbers) of a Velvet Underground bootleg LP. The original LP was issued by Death Records in Germany, 1987 (we are unsure when this picture disc was re-issued). For some bizarre reason it features a PiL recording from Germany 1986. Especially strange given that the PiL gig has never received a bootleg LP release. The source is confirmed by Lydon making reference to "the banks of the river Danube" during 'Low Life'.

There have been claims that this was recorded live at Donauinsel Festival, Austria 12.9.86, but it is actually Hamburg, Grosse Freiheit 36, Germany, June 3rd 1986.
