Description
Here we have a rare original copy of The Velvet Underground & Nico's Self Titled debut album from 1967. This was the band's debut studio album and is easily their most iconic. This particular copy is the mono 1st issue pressed on the blue and silver East Coast Verve labels. This copy has the Emerson torso on the back that was quickly changed in subsequent pressings. The banana decal has been completely peeled to reveal the pink banana underneath.
The record is in borderline strong VG/VG condition, with surface scratches and scuffs. The record plays through nicely, with moderate to notable surface noise. The cover is in borderline VG-/G+ condition, with ring wear, edge wear, staining, writing, and a seam split along the edge of the gatefold. The spine also has heavy wear and a split. Please see all the pictures to determine the condition.
Overall, this album would make a great addition to your collection. This item is being sold as is and as found. Thank you!
