Description
A very nice 1971 copy of The Velvet Underground - Loaded on Atlantic Plum label, 2400112. Matrix numbers A1 / B1
The cover is generally in excellent condition, the only noticable defects being a crease on the back towards the bottom left,and some writing on the bare cardboard inside of the opening (all as photographed)
The vinyl itself is completely free of any scratches whatsoever. There is a however a rippling pattern effect imprinted on to the vinyl which I understand is a result of contact with inner plastic sleeves which degrade over time and leave a mark, as can be seen in the photographs. This does not appear to affect sound quality which is excellent, and internet research leads me to suggest that it should not either. There is also unfortunately a name written on the label of Side 1.
