THE UNIVERSAL CONGRESS OF
Prosperous And Qualified (LP - 1988) SST (SST-180) Looks Incredible. Hasn't been touched this century, until now.
PLEASE NOTE: I haven't had a turntable since last century, and I'm not a vinyl hound or "grader," so I have to sell this "as is." But I'll do my best to describe this accurately. Any issues, just contact me. I don't give PARTIAL refunds, only full. I'll make sure you're satisfied. Check my flawless feedback.
OUTSTANDING CONDITION! Vinyl LOOKS Great. One owner. Wasn't played much in the 80s (I had over 6,000 albums, so each got little table time). Hasn't been touched this century, until now. Corners are slightly nubbed. Small bend in bottom right (see pics). Pics are the actual item you're buying.
Buy any additional vinyl and pay no extra shipping charges. As many as you want. Ships Media Mail.

ALL MUSIC GUIDE - "Of the jazz acts signed to SST Records, Universal Congress Of is one of the more interesting to someone who actually likes jazz rather than hybrids. On Prosperous & Qualified the band shows considerable instrumental skills and comfort with a range of styles, from free jazz to a surprisingly good swamp blues. While most of the material on this disc is tight, powerful jazz-funk, on "Mellow Down Easy," Steve Moss lays down his tenor sax and blows up a storm on harmonica. It's quite a departure for the man and the band, but it sounds great. While Joe Baiza was the best-known member at the time of this release, Moss and bassist Ralph Gorodetsky play as many leads and have as much to do with the sound of the band. Prosperous & Qualified is an exciting ensemble effort."
