Description:
The definitive UK first pressing of the iconic 1979 pop-punk and new wave debut. Sourced from the historic first master lacquer cuts, Side B bears the famous "AN UNUSUAL PORKY PRIME CUT" signature of legendary British mastering engineer George Peckham, alongside the "EG" initials of cutting engineer Eddy Gorecki at CBS Studios. Side A features the unique "TRACKS 90" etching, paying homage to the album’s blistering, fast-paced tracks. This true first-edition retail copy is housed in its original Garrod & Lofthouse fully laminated black-and-white picture sleeve—which misprints the tracklist by omitting "Casbah Rock"—and includes the signature bright red paper inner sleeve with rounded corners. Delivering the maximum raw punk energy and analog punch intended for 1970s sound systems, this complete package stands as a stellar, highly collectible addition to any serious rock collection.
