Description
The Undertones 'The Sin of Pride' mispressed LP from 1983.
This, the band's final album with Feargal, went through various stages of uncertainty. So much so that the track listing changed, which resulted in a few copies being pressed from the wrong masters. On the surface, this looks like a regular issue of the album. The sleeve is the same as the final version, as are the labels. The obvious indicator that this isn't the standard issue is that, according to the label, side one should contain six tracks. In reality, there are only five.
The track listing is as follows: Side one: Untouchable / Valentine's Treatment / Love Before Romance / You Stand So Close (But You're Never There) / Bittersweet.
Side two: The Love Parade / Soul Seven / Conscious / Chain of Love / Save Me / The Sin of Price.
At the time of release, You Stand So Close (But You're Never There) and Bittersweet were unreleased. The album also includes some different mixes of some tracks - most notably, The Sin of Pride.
The cover has some light wear and signs of use. The top right-hand corner has also been clipped to identify it as the unadulterated version. The vinyl is mint and unplayed..
I will separate the record from the sleeve to prevent any seam splits or damage in transit. I always include a protective cover.
