Description

The Tubby Hayes Quintet 'Down In The Village' lp. A STEREO release on the silver/black FONTANA label # 886 163 TY. I don't need to tell you how rare this lp is but I am going to anyway...IT'S RARE !!!!! Using Record Collector's grading system as my guide, the vinyl would VISUALLY rate as at least VERY GOOD. There are surface scratches to both sides. A friend of mine has tested it on his Sondek turntable. He says that surface noise is quite minimal and although the scratches can occasionally be heard on both sides, they didn't detract from his 'immense listening pleasure'. He also said the disc didn't skip or jump. So, although this copy isn't mint, it is obviously still very listenable. The Garrod & Lofthouse thick cardboard sleeve rates as GOOD. The bottom spine has a split about a third of its length (see pic). HAPPY BIDDING !!!!!
