Up for auction is a still sealed copy of the long out of print Day For Night LP by THE TRAGICALLY HIP . Released in 1994 by MCA Records CANADA - MCA 11140, the only known pressing of this record!
The cover has 3 sharp corners, the 4th has a VERY tiny amount of rounding due to the shrink wrap. The record has never been opened in the 19 years I've owned it so the shrink wrap is completely intact and sealed, the LP inside should be completely MINT! The only noticeable 'defect' of this lp is that it's been sitting in the shrink wrap so long that the weak right side of the jacket has started to get a little "wavy". I've seen this before with records that have stayed in its original shrink wrap for too long. In my experience, once you remove the shrink wrap and store the LP properly among other records in your collection it will flatten out nicely. The left (spine) side of the record is straight.
If you're a fan, you know this album to be phenomenal, and it truly sounds at home on vinyl. I bought a few copies when it was originally released and I've recently decided to thin out my collection, keeping my play copy of course!
