This item is a rare white label mono promotional album released to radio stations in 1968 on Atlantic Records by The Sweet Inspirations entitled ‘What The World Needs Now Is Love’. This mono mix album was promotional only and was never available commercially in mono. These late 1960’s mono promo albums were made for AM radio stations. This group also featured Whitney Houston’s mom Cissy. Mono promo album is in excellent condition with flaws being some very light rub marks probably made from taking the record in and out of the paper inner sleeve and some very light spindle wear on the white record labels (see photos). Record looks as if it might have been played a couple of times.Record cover is also in excellent condition with just some light wear on the top and bottom edges of the cover. Front of the cover has a DJ Monaural sticked affixed to the front of the cover (see photos). See photos for song listings.
