Description

Gidday. The Raven, released on 15th September 1979, was the 4th album offering from The Guildford Stranglers. This is the limited edition version with the gorgeous 3d front sleeve. Not only that, but it is the Australian Release.

The issue was not like most worldwide releases in that there was no inner sleeve and the vinyl label was different. The vinyl sleeve was discounted by UA as it was thought the printed lyrics to Nuclear Device would not assist sales. The issue was already slightly in trouble in Australia due to the original inner sleeve with the Aboriginal cartoon picture, which very quickly was withdrawn universally.

Condition of outer sleeve is excellent. The vinyl has seen a few plays over the years as it should and hopefully going to get some more plays in a new home. Just the time of year hopefully, to throw another shrimp on the barbie, turn up the heat, put the needle on this vinyl, and turn up the volume.
