The Stooges-Fun House-1970 Super Rare Excellent Original Elektra Rock LP

This is an excellent original US copy of the 2d LP by The Stooges, Fun House, released on the original butterfly label in 1970 by Elektra Records. Super clean copies of this punk psych master piece are becoming almost impossible to find.

 As to grading, I grade very conservatively following Goldmine Record grading standard. Except that for records that are a notch below near mint, rather than VG ++, I prefer to use grade of Excellent. I do not use VG++ grade in addition to Excellent grade as is done by some.

The LP is in excellent condition. All that is visible are a few barely visible and inaudible lines in the middle and towards the end of Side 2. The LP was play tested through headphones after manual cleaning and plays beautifully. As the LP was tested several weeks before listing it should, of course, be cleaned again before play. The cover is in excellent condition. The corners on all sides show wear The top seam is strong with only minor  rub wear/loss of color but no splits The spine is very nice as well with the product information clearly readable with slight rub wear and wear at the spine on the bottom. There is about a 1 inch seam split in the middle of the bottom seam. The front cover is still very nice with vibrant color. There is slight bit of ring wear noticeable at top and bottom of the cover. The back cover does display slight age wear. 

The LP is being sold without reserve and payment is expected within 3 days of auction close. Return of the LP will only be accepted if the same LP sold and shipped is returned in the same condition .Buyers that behave in a less than ethical manner will be reported and blocked from participation in future auctions. The LP will be separated from the cover when shipped to prevent seam splitting.
