Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
Album ships in a 2 MIL poly cover sleeve.
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I call a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played. I use the grading category to describe the cover condition.
- This is a terrific album that was relatively unheralded when it was released in 1976. Every track is excellent.
- This Promotional Copy has never been played.
- The Promo sticker is on the upper right front cover.
- The border of the front cover is embossed.
- I had to re-glue the cover seams and the Promo sticker. The cover is a Unipak and many of their early covers had problems with the seams becoming unglued as soon as they were collated and shipped. The top and bottom seams were taped years ago and the tape is still on the cover (see photos). I have added a soft poly cover sleeve.
- The original brown paper bag inner sleeve has lyrics and credits.
- This is a one-owner that the Seller got new from Reprise in 1976. It has been in storage for 42 years.
