This is my copy of The Sound of the Suburbs, a Punk/New Wave compilation album from 1991
All the top bands of the time are here, check out the playlist.
This is a very rare record, made at a time when vinyl was being phased out in favour of CDs.
This is my personal record, bought new back in the '90s. It was played, at most, 2 or 3 times and then carefully stored for house moves etc.
The album cover is in mint condition, almost as new. It still has the cellophane protecting it.
The record sleeve is also mint
The vinyl is visually excellent.
Please study the photos very carefully.
The disc itself plays lovely.
I have played the tracks on my Rega turntable and they are all fine, a very few tiny crackles here and there.
The disc may benefit from a professional clean but I would be happy to play it as is.
I am selling my vinyl collection to clear space.
