This is an original 1st UK pressing of The Sound's Jeopardy debut LP on Korova purchased in London on initial release in 1980.  Album sleeve, inner sleeve and vinyl are in near mint condition.  This is quite a hard record to get hold of and is in immaculate condition and was barely played due to being stored with  family for many years.  Inner sleeve with photo of band, names under each member as follows: Graham Green, Adrian Borland, Bi Marshall, Michael Dudley, Management:S.Budd/G.Cumment - Wood TORTCH, Photo:Spencer Rowe II, Artwork:Sara Batho, back inner with "We will wait  for the night  We will wait" at bottom.  Side 1 outgroove hand etched with "Power and Glory.." , and matrix KODE-2-A1, side 2 outgroove etched with matrix KODE-2- B1.  Inner labels with tracklisting, writer credits, no timings.  Back sleeve with tracklisting, photo of explosion, "Recorded by The Sound and Nick Robbins at Elephant Studios".  This was re-issued in 2002 and there are many copies of that floating around but not of this original release, many being sold as such do not have the correct matrix # or "Power and Glory" hand etched on run-out groove .  This looks brand new not 31+ years old, and you would be hard pressed to find a 1st pressing of this record in this condition.  If you require additional photos please send me your email address and I'll be happy to send them to you.  Being sold with low starting price of $49.99 with no reserve.

I am selling off most of my record collection which reflects a wide range of taste which I have collected over 33+ years.  I worked in the music industry for much of my life, and many of my records which I will be listing in the coming weeks are quite rare, many are 1st pressings and limited editions.  All my records have been well cared for and have not had much play due to being in storage with a family member for many years.  This is a reluctant sale as it represents a lifetime's love of music but I also realize that as much as I love all this music it hasn't been played in a very long time and needs a new home where it will be.  All items from a clean, smoke free home.  Payment due within 3 days of auction end and via Paypal only please.  Items will be sent within two business days of receiving payment and carefully packaged in professional mailers.  Please refer to shipping notes below.  Thanks for looking and good luck if you decide to bid.
