Description
The Sorrows - Take A Heart LP Piccadilly 1st Press Classic "Brit Invasion" album from 1965. This is the first pressing, it has A1,B1 matrices and as you can see the vinyl is mirror shiny and hasn't been played more than five times in its life.
There are two 8mm marks on side two that stop this record grading EX+, they're exactly at 90º to the groove. The first is inaudible and I thought I heard the second one once or twice but it might just have been a dropped beat by the drummer. I played it loud on a revealing system (details on request - I don't wish to brag) and the whole record played perfectly - I hope my neighbours enjoyed it!
It comes with the original inner sleeve although since it was cleaned it's lived in a clean new anti-static inner. The laminated sleeve has some corner wear, light creasing and a little grime on the laminated back but it is 45 years old! It's a bugger to photograph, being dark and shiny.
Due to eBay's stupid new postage rules I've had to increase the start price of my records - this is good for international customers because I've been able to discount your shipping but I can't reduce it if you buy more.

Like many of the records I'm selling today this came from the large collection of a busy man now aged 60. Due to the size of his collection many of the LPs were only played once or twice from new - some were never played and they were all properly looked after. His musical taste was towards the avant garde/free end of the jazz spectrum. I will be selling selected records from his collection over the next few years so please add me to your favourites list!
