Kevin Ayers, Robert Wyatt & Mike Ratledge comprise this version of (The) Soft Machine, here on their debut album, playing odd, oblique, alien  jazz-informed prog pop. 
"Joy of a Toy" and "Why Are We Sleeping"  are the "hits"  (as far as I know)
Wear and tear  (and a little cellophane tape) on the 50 + year old sleeve,  vinyl is nice and plays well.     US original pressing with (later censored) nudity.   (F the Police, btw)
