The Soft Boys "Two Halves For The Price Of One"
This is a UK vinyl pressing on Armageddon BYE 1 from 1981. This was their third album. The front cover is autographed : "Matthew Seligman", "Kimberly Rew", and "Morris Windsor". The labels are light pink with red printing. This album has studio rarities and live tracks. The album title is printed only on the left spine. One side of the cover is called "Lope At The Hive" and has five live songs, including great covers of Syd Barrett, Bob Dylan, and Elvis Presley songs. The other side of the cover is called "Only The Stones Remain" and includes a Byrds cover.
I got this album from the Gateway Tower Records in Portland, Oregon. I was there the day after they shut the doors and went out of business. I bought lots of promo stand-ups, album cover slicks, 7" singles, and a box of about 100 albums. ALL of the albums had been taken off of the high walls of the store. Every album was autographed !! They were autographed to store employees that had gone to their concerts. This album is sold 'as is' with no proof or authentication.

The Live side songs are : Black Snake Diamond Rock, Underwater Moonlight, Astronomy Domine, Outlaw Blues, and Mystery Train. The studio side songs are : Only The Stones Remain, Where Are The Prawns, The Bells Of Rhymney, There's Nobody Like You, and Innocent Boy.
Overall Condition is : Cover is G+ / Record is M-
The cover is G+, with no seam splits. There is lots of wear, scuffs, bad stains, a cover tear, and stains on the left edge. The clear outer plastic sleeve is taped into the inside of the cover. The vinyl looks near mint and it plays near mint. The labels are clean with no spindle marks. The record comes in a plain white inner sleeve, with 'Precautions' printed in French.

I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby. And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon. On Discogs I am 'Fragilerecords'. My records are from a no smoking and no pets home. I am a record collector, not a DJ, so I almost never play my records.
Packaging :
I take great care on every package and I do each one personally. I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard. Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard. Together they are very strong and unbendable. I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve. The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.

You have to pay for the postage. I pre-weigh every package, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges. There are NO handling charges. This record will weigh 23 ounces when ready to ship. US winners can choose between Media mail or Priority mail.
