The Social Outcasts / Ronnie And The Renegades on Sultan 1003. "Mad" and "Blue Guitar" Record is in VG condition. (has some non feel-able surface marks only. plays really great) The "A" side is a really weird and bizarre instrumental !! Imagine a reverby surf guitar playing middle eastern modes over a mellow hypnotic jungle style beat and then add a lot of fake bird calls and also throw in a man constantly doing some very sexual grunting through out ...... and then top it all off with a loud scream laced with studio echo effects right near the end of the song for a climax !! This song is the definitive jungle exotica song and if you like that type of stuff you are going to love this record......These guys were total geniuses and instead of sinking into total obscurity these guys should have received a grammy instead for their efforts. But alas the world isn't that hip or cool at all .......In fact it is quite square indeed.....what a shame. The flip is also a bit strange and is also a really great exotica song in its own right. But it only pales in comparison because the other side is so damn unique and cool. (although this record lists two different bands I get a funny feeling that both sides were recorded by the same people) I really wonder who these guys were and, more importantly, I wonder if they recorded anything else besides this 45. perhaps there is an unreleased album ?? somebody should seriously track these guys down for sure and find out !! This is a very rare record and I have no idea when it was made but it sounds very much like it is from the early 1960's.

GRADING OF RECORDS
NEAR MINT – record is ‘like new” very clean with only possibly the most minor and superficial of marks.
VG++ record has only very minor surface marks and wear and is in excellent condition.
VG+ record shows some surface marks but the record is still in relatively good shape. no feel-able scratches
VG record shows a fair amount of wear. may have feel-able scratches
G record shows excessive wear.
