This record is an original 1986 first pressing of The Smiths' album "The Queen Is Dead" on vinyl, released by Rough Trade. The high-fidelity LP features a cardboard sleeve with insert. Inscriptions on dead wax on both sides  'THERE WAS ROUGH DAYS' and  'FEAR OF MANCHESTER'. This is a must-have for collectors and fans of The Smiths, Morrissey and Johnny Marr. VINYL AND COVER are excellent condition (see photos).

A genuine original UK copy of one of the defining albums of the 1980s and arguably The Smiths at their absolute peak. From the opening title track through to There Is a Light That Never Goes Out and Bigmouth Strikes Again, this is an essential record for any serious indie / alternative vinyl collection.

This is not a later reissue — it’s an original UK release, highly sought after by collectors and fans of Morrissey and Johnny Marr alike.
